Specified Disease Rider has Changed the Indemnity Market

The AHS Health Access plan has always been a great product that fits many people’s needs. So why do we sell so many STM plans and barely any Health Access plans? The reason most given by agents is “What if my client has a huge medical expense and they exceed the benefits offered by the Health Access Plan.” This is a legitimate concern that AHS heard from many top agents. This concern has led to the creation of the AHS Specified Disease Rider. This plan is created for the specific reason to address the larger medical bills that concern so many. Let’s look at how it works.

Example:
Your 50-year-old client has an AHS Health Access Fundamentals plan, and you added a Specified Disease Rider with a 30k Deductible. He needs Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery which costs $123,000.
