Cremation is the wave of the future!

Let’s be honest: NO ONE wants to discuss this—Cremation! I get it; it’s nothing anyone wants to admit, but truth be told, we all will go sometime. 

There are many challenges when talking about Cremation, but that shouldn’t stop you as an agent from informing people about the benefits of being prepared NOW for when the time comes and a loved one or themselves are gone. 

Cremation has become increasingly popular and in demand. It’s a much faster, more straightforward, cost-effective process, and many companies handle the paperwork. 

Usually, families do the standard cremation process of placing someone’s ashes into a vase, but today, you can scatter the ashes, plant them, or keep them as a keepsake. The other benefit is that the customer has a few different payment options, making it affordable for them. Plus, as an agent, you get a GREAT commission!

Here is a little fun fact: In 1960, only 3.6% of the population chose Cremation. Today, 65% of the population is moving forward with Cremation. That’s a 165% increase. – “National Cremation”. So, you can only imagine what the rate of Cremation will be in the decades to come. Burials are becoming less common. 

Lastly, at the time of death, no one wants to face the fact that their loved one is gone. It’s a mental process that they have to endure, and adding on the burden of figuring out how they want to be processed isn’t convenient. Giving your clients all this information will help them, especially with their needs. All they have to do is provide the information to the police officer and give the company a quick call, and the rest is all taken care of. 

My final remake is, Don’t take NO for an answer, but give the facts and give the customer an opportunity for “Death” to sink in. Eventually, they will come around, plus it’s a more accessible sale than you think!
