Allstate Health Solutions Introduction

Bruce Henry - President

Selling the NatGen portfolio of their ‘Best in Class’ Individual Health & Indemnity products – is about to get a whole lot easier. As the Agent Communication states – National General’s individual Health (Non ACA) and Supplemental products will fly under the Allstate banner by early Fall as ‘Allstate Health Solutions’.  As we all know – Allstate is a household brand known to most U.S. Consumers.  Being able to use the Allstate name and brand with your prospects and clients provides a powerful advantage.

Compass Health has been with National General since they acquired Assurant Health in 2017. Prior to 2017, we were a top producing Agency for Assurant since 2008, selling their Major Medical plans as well as their STM, Fixed Benefit & Ancillary.  As a matter of fact, Assurant was the inventor of STM.  We still offer this product today across 25 states to the non-subsidized consumer.  We also offer their ACCESS Plan – a fixed benefit individual health plan that is low cost with 1st $ benefits and can be paired with ancillary products to strengthen the coverage.

Allstate’s primary reason to acquire NatGen was for their Auto insurance business – specifically their Direct Auto Division serving the lower income consumer. It just so happened that NatGen’s Health and Supplemental business comprised a good part of their overall profit which is why Allstate has determined to support this segment to the fullest with their own brand:  Allstate Health Solutions.  You should already be using the Allstate name in speaking about the NatGen products.  As a matter of fact – the NG logo was rebranded with the tagline ‘an Allstate Company’ about a year ago.

For those who are interested – we are an Allstate appointed Agency for Maine – where the Access plan is the only non-ACA product offered in the state.  We begin our marketing efforts there next week in an effort to provide coverage to the non-subsidized consumer via the Access plan.  If you have interest in working the Maine market – please contact Kyle Henry at the Home Office.

Lastly, I will be attending a meeting in Milwaukee next month to meet with the Allstate Brass regarding our relationship and the new opportunities. I am hopeful we can negotiate a contract to offer their low cost auto insurance from our Retail Locations and Home Office.  More to come on this upon my return.

So – be sure to put the power of Allstate to work for you as we continue to build upon our ‘Best in Class’ Partner Company strategy.

Best regards and Happy Selling! n
